Ralph E. Bailey has been Executive Chairman of Fuel Tech since February 2006. Previously, he had been a director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fuel Tech since April 1998.
Douglas G. Bailey has been a director of Fuel Tech since April 1998 and Deputy Chairman since 2002. He became an employee of Fuel Tech effective January 2004. Mr. Bailey, who is the son of Ralph E. Bailey, has been President and Chief Executive Officer of American Bailey Corporation since 1984.
Miguel Espinosa has been President and Chief Executive Officer of The Riverview Group, LLC, a financial consulting company, since 2001. He retired in 2001 as Treasurer of Conoco Inc., his employer since 1965. In addition to corporate finance, Mr. Espinosa’s responsibilities at Conoco involved the financing of international operations, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Mr. Espinosa has a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Texas.
Charles W. Grinnell has been Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Fuel Tech since 1988 and a director of Fuel Tech since September 1989. Mr. Grinnell is a director of Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc., a specialty chemical and energy technology company, and has also been engaged in the private practice of corporate law in Stamford, Connecticut since 1992.
Thomas L. Jones is a Managing Director at Trinsum Group, a global M&A advisory, private equity and management consulting firm. Mr. Jones has three decades of experience in corporate finance and M&A. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Integrated Finance Ltd., a predecessor company to Trinsum Group. He also has been a Managing Director at First Boston, Salomon Brothers and J.P. Morgan. Mr. Jones graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina and holds an M.B.A. from there as well.
John D. Morrow, formerly a director of Fuel Tech, Inc. from 1985 to 1987, is the retired Chief Financial Officer and director of Conoco Inc.
John F. Norris Jr. has been a director of Fuel Tech since June 2006 and President and Chief Executive Officer since February 2006. Previously, he had been a private consultant to clients in energy-related industries, including Fuel Tech, since 2003; Senior Vice President, Operations and Technical Services of American Electric Power from 1999 until 2003; President and Chief Operating Officer of the American Bureau of Shipping Group during 1999; and he was associated with Duke Energy Corporation from 1982 until 1999 in positions from Assistant Engineer to Senior Vice President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Duke Energy Global Asset Development.
Thomas S. Shaw, Jr. has been a director of Fuel Tech since 2001 and is the retired Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pepco Holdings, Inc.
Delbert L. Williamson has been a director of Fuel Tech since February 2008 and is the retired President of Global Commercial Operations for GE Energy, Inc. Mr. Williamson has over 45 years of energy-related experience, virtually all with General Electric Company. He currently serves as a member of the Advisory Council of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
